It is the essential reference source in the field of medicine and health sciences. The MEDLINE index, which can be searched through the PubMed interface, can also be searched via EBSCO's EBSCOhost platform.
MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings), the medical subject terms created by the National Library of Medicine. Using MeSH, which offers a hierarchical structure in the form of a tree diagram, the bibliographic records of more than 5,600 PubMed journals can be searched.
The more than 5,600 journals included in MEDLINE contain over 23 million records dating back to 1809.

Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, offering bibliometric tools for tracking, analyzing and visualizing research. It covers more than 18,500 journals from over 5,000 publishers worldwide in the arts and humanities as well as in science, technology, medicine and the social sciences. It contains 43 million records, 70% of which are abstracts published since 1996, together with extensive quality web sources and patent information.

SOBİAD (Social Sciences Citation Index) is a citation index and social sciences database containing 826 journals, 220,492 articles and 5,047,296 citations. Academics can find citations made to their own work and can also see the citations made to any given article on that article's detail page.
SOBİAD is also a database in which more than 100,000 articles are indexed together with their PDFs, meaning that the full text of 100,000 articles can be searched. Thanks to these features, SOBİAD can be used by academics, master's and doctoral students working on their theses, and undergraduate students preparing research assignments.

TR Dizin, created by ULAKBİM, covers 5 main subject areas: health sciences (medicine), engineering and natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, life sciences, and law.
The national scientific journals that make up the content of TR Dizin are selected according to journal evaluation criteria by committees consisting of ULAKBİM TR Dizin experts and specialists and academics in the relevant subject areas. It offers services such as the most cited journals, the most cited articles, the most cited authors and the journals with the highest impact value. It covers 1,656 journals. (April 2023)
