Message from the Dean
Welcome to the İZÜ Faculty of Health Sciences!
With its undergraduate and graduate programmes, our Faculty aims to train qualified and responsible individuals in the field of health. Together with our expert, strong and dynamic academic staff, we care that our students are equipped not only with professional knowledge but also with a commitment to ethical values, teamwork skills and an awareness of social responsibility. Throughout your education, you will be supported with the knowledge and skills that will enable you to take active roles in protecting and improving individual and public health and in establishing sustainable health policies.
Our Faculty, which started undergraduate education in 2013, continues to grow and develop by adding graduate programmes. Conducted from an interdisciplinary perspective, these programmes aim to enable you to make multifaceted contributions to health services. In this process, we will also encourage you to do research, take part in scientific projects and engage in social responsibility activities for the community.
Supporting the personal development of our students and strengthening their professional identity along with their academic success is of great importance to us. As a faculty, we will not only transfer knowledge to our students but will also continue to guide them to become health professionals who think critically, produce solutions and embrace a human-centred approach.
Our greatest goal is to educate our students as innovative health professionals and leaders who serve humanity, in learning environments supported by up-to-date technologies and with an approach that encourages research and inquiry. We also consider it among our Faculty's priorities that our students achieve success on national and international platforms, build networks of solidarity and make a strong start in employment after graduation.
We are aware that your university years will be an important period in your life. As part of this special journey, our sincerest wish is to guide you, support your achievements and inspire you to become individuals who make a difference with the knowledge and experience you gain here.
