Final registration procedures for candidates placed at our University through the 2025-DGS Additional Placement will be carried out between 22-23 October 2025 via the Council of Higher Education E-Registration System .
Detailed information about registration is provided below; reading this information carefully and following the steps in order will enable you to complete your registration easily and without any problems.

STEP-BY-STEP E-REGISTRATION PROCEDURES;
STEP 1:
Find out the amount of your tuition fee by logging in to the IZU Tuition Fee Payment System and make your payment. (Students with a 100% scholarship do not need to complete this step.)

STEP 2:
After paying your tuition fee, complete your University registration by logging in to the E-Registration System.

After completing your e-registration, log in to the University E-Registration Document Inquiry System and generate your barcoded E-Registration Document.
STEP 4:

STEP 5:
Finally, log in to the Campus Information System to upload the documents required for final registration at our University and to answer the short survey we have prepared for you.
* Students who complete e-registration do not need to come to our University to register or to submit documents in person. The documents required for final registration at the University will be uploaded to the Student Information System in *.pdf format.
* Candidates who are unable to complete e-registration between 22-23 October 2025 must apply in person to the Directorate of Student Affairs no later than 17.00 on Thursday, 30 October 2025 with the DGS Registration Petition and the documents required for final registration in order to complete their registration.
* Associate degree students who were unable to register for the program they were placed in on the registration dates specified in the 2025 Vertical Transfer Exam placement results because they had not yet graduated from their higher education institution, but who may qualify for graduation after the registration date by completing an internship, a resit exam, a single-course exam and so on, will be provisionally registered on the specified registration dates (22-30 October 2025), provided that they document their situation. By the start of the spring semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, those who cannot document that they have graduated will have their provisional registration cancelled.
* Students who do not complete their registration on the dates announced by the University are deemed to have waived their right to become a student of the University and may not claim any right thereafter.
* Students with disabilities must submit the report indicating the type and percentage of their disability to the Directorate of Student Affairs by the end of the working day on Thursday, 30 October 2025.
* Students who are already enrolled in a formal undergraduate program at another higher education institution cannot be registered at the University; if such a registration has been made, it is cancelled and all rights acquired through this registration are annulled. Furthermore, if it emerges that a person has registered with false information or statements or with forged or incomplete documents, their registration is cancelled, all rights acquired through this registration are annulled, and legal proceedings are initiated against them.
* Warning that graduation from high school could not be confirmed from the Ministry of National Education Information System in the E-Registration System: In order to complete their registration, students who receive this error during e-registration must send the document issued by their high school stating that they have a single-course or resit exam remaining to bilgi@izu.edu.tr.
* Warning that the “No Objection in Terms of Military Service Procedures” information could not be obtained from the Ministry of National Defense Conscription Department System in the E-Registration System: Students who receive this error during e-registration must send the “No Objection in Terms of Military Service Procedures” letter obtained via e-Government or from a Military Recruitment Office to bilgi@izu.edu.tr.
* Warning that an active student registration exists in the Higher Education Information System in the E-Registration System: Students who receive this error during e-registration must first withdraw from the university where they are enrolled and send the document confirming that their registration has been cancelled to bilgi@izu.edu.tr. In addition, the university concerned must update its YÖKSİS data before registration.
Students who have enrolled through the 2025-DGS Additional Placement in our University’s undergraduate programs with a compulsory English Preparatory Class will sit the English Placement Test on Monday, 10 November 2025 at 11.00 in classroom DLB15 of the School of Languages Building. Students whose level in this test is determined as B2 or above will sit the English Language Proficiency Written and Oral Exam on Tuesday, 11 November 2025 at 13.00 in classroom DLB15 of the School of Languages Building.
Students who have enrolled through the 2025-DGS Additional Placement in our University’s undergraduate programs with a compulsory Arabic Preparatory Class will sit the Arabic Placement Test on Monday, 10 November 2025 at 15.00 in classroom DL116 of the School of Languages Building. Students whose level in this test is determined as B2 or above will sit the Arabic Language Proficiency Written Exam on Tuesday, 11 November 2025 at 10.30 in classroom DL116 of the School of Languages Building, and the Arabic Language Proficiency Oral Exam will be held on Tuesday, 11 November 2025 at 13.30 in classroom DL116 of the School of Languages Building.
Students who wish to begin the compulsory foreign language preparatory class at level A1 (the lowest level) do not need to sit the Foreign Language Placement Test. These students begin the relevant foreign language preparatory class directly at the lowest level (level A1).
Students who believe that their level in the relevant foreign language is A2 or above, and students who believe that they may be exempted from the compulsory foreign language preparatory class (that their level is B2 or above), must sit the Foreign Language Placement Test.
In order to be exempted from compulsory foreign language preparatory education, students whose level is determined as B2 or above as a result of the Foreign Language Placement Test must sit and pass the Foreign Language Proficiency Exam.
* Optional Foreign Language Preparatory education is available in undergraduate programmes taught entirely in Turkish. Students who wish to receive optional English or Arabic Preparatory education must apply with a petition to the secretariat of the relevant faculty within five working days at the latest from the date of their enrolment at the University. Students whose requests are approved by the relevant faculty executive boards must take the Foreign Language Placement Test on the dates specified above.

ATTENTION OF STUDENTS WHO WILL TAKE THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE PLACEMENT AND PROFICIENCY EXAMINATIONS:
-We recommend that you review the Sample English Proficiency Examination before the exam.
-No make-up examination is held for any stage of the examinations for any reason whatsoever.
-Students who do not take the examination are deemed to have failed it.

Students who have previously successfully completed the foreign language preparatory class of any university submit their exemption requests to the Foreign Languages Coordinatorship within the university registration period, together with a petition and a document showing that they successfully completed the foreign language preparatory class. (Exemption requests submitted at a later date, or requests for the cancellation of exemption/course adjustment procedures already carried out, are not accepted.)
Students who obtain a score equivalent to level B2 in national or international exams that measure all four language skills and are recognized as equivalent by ÖSYM submit the originals of these documents to the Foreign Languages Coordinatorship within the registration period.

*For all foreign languages: if no validity date is stated on the language certificate, it has been decided that foreign language certificates dated September 2005 and later will be accepted as valid.
(1) A student who has previously studied at any higher education institution whose equivalence is recognised by the Council of Higher Education may request exemption for the courses they have taken and passed at that institution by applying with a petition to the secretariat of the relevant faculty/department together with the original transcript and course contents. Documents obtained from higher education institutions abroad (excluding universities in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus) must be certified with an apostille. A student may not request exemption with a document that has not been apostilled.
(2) The student must submit the exemption request within five working days at the latest from the date of their enrolment at the university. Exemption requests made at later dates, or requests for the cancellation of exemption/adaptation procedures already carried out, are not accepted.
(3) The student's exemption request is evaluated by the adaptation committee to be formed by the relevant deanship/directorate, and is finalised by a decision of the relevant executive board following the adaptation process.
(4) Students granted course exemption may, with the approval of their academic advisor and in accordance with the course registration rules, take courses from a higher year up to the amount of ECTS credits for which they are exempt.
(5) The courses taken and passed in the previous diploma programme by students who have previously studied at any higher education institution whose equivalence is recognised by the Council of Higher Education are exempted in accordance with the principles determined by the relevant committee and are recorded on the transcript.
(6) For students who have previously studied at any higher education institution whose equivalence is recognised by the Council of Higher Education, the weighted grade point average and academic standing are calculated over the exempted courses together with the courses taken at the University.

Course selection for students who will enroll in the first year of our University’s undergraduate programs will be carried out by the students themselves between 15-21 September 2025 on the Campus Information System Course Registration Page .
Approval of the courses selected by students will be carried out by the academic advisors between 22-26 September 2025 on the Campus Information System Advisor Approval Page.
Classes for the undergraduate programs and the Foreign Language Preparatory Classes will begin on Monday, 22 September 2025.
