  • Having completed all of high school education outside Turkey.

  • Being born in 2001 or later (priority is given to the youngest candidates).

  • Having a high school grade point average above 65%.

  • Having graduated from the science track in high school for engineering programmes.

  • Not meeting these requirements may affect the scholarship rate or admission.

  • High school diploma (for candidates who have not yet graduated, an official document showing that they will graduate before the final registration date)

  • Transcript (for all years of high school)

  • Copy of a valid ID/passport and one passport-size photograph

  • Exam result document with university entrance exam status (SAT/YÖS), if any

  • A valid residence permit if residing in Turkey

  • Applications are evaluated by the International Student Admission Commission, taking into account the secondary school diploma, transcript and weighted grade point average, YÖS/SAT or equivalent exam results if any, other supporting documents (statement of purpose, letter of recommendation, etc.) and the characteristics of the programme applied for.

  • Evaluation results are sent to the e-mail address declared by the candidate on the application form; an e-signed Letter of Acceptance is sent to candidates who require a student visa.

  • One year of language preparatory education is provided for students who cannot meet the official exemption requirements for the language of instruction.

  • A 100% scholarship quota is offered for students who have a SAT or YÖS score or who succeed in the scholarship exam we will hold.

  • Candidates applying to the Islamic Sciences programme are asked for a Qur'an hafiz certificate instead of SAT/YÖS.

  • The scholarship exam will be announced on our social media accounts.

  • Scholarships and discounts granted by the University cover only the tuition fee. In the event of a transfer to another undergraduate programme within the University, the scholarship/discount rate is reduced by one level; if a disciplinary penalty is received, the scholarship/discount may be terminated or its rate reduced.

We have full scholarship quotas for international candidates educated abroad. Candidates who meet the scholarship requirements will be invited to an online interview. Evaluation requirements (in addition to the application requirements):

  • Having a SAT/YÖS exam result (a hafiz certificate for Islamic Sciences candidates).
  • Having a high school grade point average of at least 80%.
  • Statement of purpose (motivation letter).
  • At least one letter of reference.

An online exam is planned in different cities abroad for international candidates who do not have a SAT/YÖS exam result. The exam is divided into two categories, Numerical and Verbal, according to the preferred faculty. Exam details will be announced separately.
