Faculty of Education
The value and importance of Faculties of Education are increasing with each passing day, and their responsibilities are continually growing. Aware of this, we strive every day to fulfil this duty ever better. Our Faculty continues to develop its academic and technological infrastructure in order to educate self-confident, thoughtful, productive individuals who can form their own interpretations and who will secure our future.
Faculty of Law
The aim of our Faculty of Law is to equip our students with the ability to think in legal terms, the capacity to devise just solutions to current and future legal issues, and a sense of service to society. In line with our University's goal of becoming a research university, the İZÜ Faculty of Law aims, as a centre of teaching and research, to uphold justice in every field.
Faculty of Business and Management Sciences
All departments taught in our Faculty offer a broad range of elective courses tailored to students' areas of interest. In addition to university electives, departmental and general electives make up roughly half of the 8-semester program. The greatest advantage of this for students is that, if they take all their courses within their own department, they can achieve deep specialisation, while if they take courses from departments that interest them inside or outside the Faculty, they can easily pursue a minor or double major.
Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences
The aim of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, which began teaching in the 2011–2012 academic year, is to train engineers with the scientific and technical expertise to keep pace with a globalising world, to compete in national and international markets, and to provide a foundation for high-quality, technology-based enterprises.
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
Humanities and Social Sciences is an umbrella concept that takes as its focus of interest and inquiry human beings and the various aspects and dimensions of social, political and cultural life. The psychological make-up of the individual, socio-cultural actions and relations, and social, political and cultural life are studied and examined by many scholarly disciplines.
Faculty of Islamic Sciences
Among the fundamental aims of our Faculty are to give new expression to enduring and universal religious/Islamic and cultural values through lived experience, and to develop a language and discourse that closely engages with the problems people encounter in their search for meaning, in order to understand and explain them and to produce reliable, humane solutions. Our Faculty approaches humanity, nature and existence in general from a holistic perspective that does not observe a fact-value distinction.
Faculty of Health Sciences
The aim of the Faculty of Health Sciences is to train professionals who engage in interdisciplinary teamwork in protecting and improving individual and public health and in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of diseases, who respect legal, ethical and professional values, and who analyse current trends and requirements in health services...
Faculty of Sport Sciences
The Faculty of Sport Sciences of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University began teaching in the 2019-2020 academic year with the Department of Physical Education Teaching.
Institute of Graduate Studies
The Graduate School of Education seeks to give students an in-depth (vertical) understanding, critical-analytical thinking skills and the capacity to conduct individual research so that they may become experts in their field of study.
