
ARTICLE 17 - (1) The Fine Arts Scholarship is granted, based on the result of the special aptitude examination, the content of the application file, and the evaluation of supporting documents, upon the recommendation of the Special Aptitude Examination Commission and the decision of the Faculty of Education Administrative Board, to students who qualify to enroll in the University's Music Teaching undergraduate program and who meet at least one of the conditions specified below — for a maximum of one year for optional foreign language preparatory programs, a maximum of two years for compulsory foreign language preparatory programs, and a maximum of seven years for undergraduate programs — without exceeding the maximum period of study of the programs.
(2) Official documents relating to scholarship eligibility or artistic achievements must be submitted at the time of application to the University. Artistic achievements must be substantiated only by official documents, competition or festival certificates, concert/event participation certificates, and verifiable written documents issued by art institutions or authorized organizations. Verbal statements, informal correspondence, or unverifiable documents are not accepted.
(3) Candidates who demonstrate outstanding talent in artistic performance, technical proficiency, originality, and development potential during the Special Talent Examination receive a 100% scholarship.
(4) Candidates who graduate from music-related fields of Fine Arts High Schools receive a 50% discount on the tuition fee payable.
(5) Candidates who graduate from other high schools or fields may, if they document that they have achieved a ranking in national or international competitions and can substantiate their artistic performances and achievements, receive a discount of up to 50% on the tuition fee payable.
(6) Students who, while enrolled, achieve a ranking representing the University in composition or performance competitions organized by national or international official institutions and organizations receive, effective from the following academic year: a 100% scholarship for first place, a 50% discount on the tuition fee payable for second place, and a 25% discount for third place.
(7) Fine arts scholarships and discounts are continued by decision of the faculty administrative board or are terminated, without reinstatement, in the cases specified below.
a) having a cumulative weighted grade point average that falls below 2.00 at the end of the academic year,
b) failing to renew registration for one semester in undergraduate programs, or for one quarter/level in the compulsory foreign language preparatory program,
c) having received a disciplinary penalty,
d) transferring internally or externally to another institution.
(8) This scholarship may not be used by students who, while studying in any undergraduate program of the University, were placed by retaking the examination, nor by students who previously graduated from any formal undergraduate program.
Article 17 - (1)The Fine Arts Scholarship is granted, for the maximum period of study of the program, based on the result of the special aptitude examination, the content of the application file, and the evaluation of supporting documents, upon the recommendation of the Special Aptitude Examination Commission and the decision of the Faculty of Education Administrative Board, to students who qualify to enroll in the University's Music Teaching undergraduate program and who meet at least one of the conditions specified below.
(2)Official documents regarding scholarship eligibility or artistic achievements must be presented at the time of application to the University. Artistic achievements must be evidenced solely by official documents, competition or festival certificates, concert/event participation certificates, and verifiable written documents issued by art institutions or authorized organizations. Verbal statements, informal correspondence, or unconfirmable documents are not considered valid.
(3)A 100% scholarship may be granted to candidates who demonstrate exceptional talent during the Special Aptitude Examination in terms of artistic performance, technical proficiency, originality, and development potential.
(4) A 50% discount on the tuition fee they are required to pay may be applied to candidates who graduate from music-related fields of Fine Arts High Schools.
(5) For candidates who graduate from other high schools or fields and who document that they have achieved a ranking in national or international competitions and provide evidence of their artistic performances and achievements, a discount of between 25% and 50% may be applied on the tuition fee they are required to pay.
(6) Students who, while enrolled, achieve a ranking on behalf of the University in composition or performance competitions organized by national or international official institutions and organizations may, effective from the following academic year, be granted scholarships and discounts on the tuition fee they are required to pay at the rates below:
100% scholarship for the student who places first,
50% discount for the student who places second,
25% discount for the student who places third.
(7) Fine arts scholarships and discounts are terminated and not granted again, by decision of the Faculty Administrative Board, in the cases specified below.
a)The weighted overall grade point average falling below 2.00 at the end of the academic year,
b)Failing to renew registration for one semester without a valid legal excuse,
c)Having received a disciplinary penalty,
ç) Undergoing an internal or external horizontal transfer.
(8) This scholarship is not available to students who retake the examination and gain placement while already enrolled in any undergraduate program of the University, or to students who have previously graduated from any formal undergraduate program.
