Establishment and Operation
The University Board of Directors is chaired by the Rector and consists of the deans and at least three professors elected by the Senate for a term of four years to represent the various teaching units and fields affiliated with the University. The Rector convenes the Board of Directors when necessary.
Vice Rectors may attend Board of Directors meetings without voting rights.
Duties
The University Board of Directors is an advisory body assisting the Rector in administrative activities, and its duties are as follows:
To assist the Rector in the implementation of decisions of higher education authorities and the Senate, in line with the determined plans and programs,
To ensure the implementation of activity plans and programs; to review the investment program and the draft budget proposal, taking into account the recommendations of units affiliated with the University, and to submit them to the Rectorate together with its own recommendations,
To make decisions on matters brought by the Rector regarding University administration,
To review objections made against the decisions of faculty, institute and school boards of directors and to reach a final decision,
To perform other duties assigned by law,
