The International Islamic Economics and Finance Application and Research Center (İSEFAM) has been operating as one of the most strategic units of our university since 28 October 2016. Established to keep alive the legacy of the late Prof. Sabahattin Zaim, who gave our university its name and was the pioneer of this field in Turkey, our center works in full harmony with all related undergraduate and graduate departments on our campus. Our main aim is to make our university a global brand in Islamic economics and finance, while conducting in-depth research on the one hand and raising the quality of education in this field through certificate programmes and academic activities on the other.
By maximizing university-industry cooperation, we provide the world of participation finance with fully equipped experts, and we work hand in hand with international academic communities to produce world-class projects and scientific publications. We also offer the consultancy and applied analysis services needed in Islamic finance with a professional approach.
As İSEFAM, we cooperate with many institutions in Turkey and abroad that share goals similar to ours. Together with domestic and international sector actors, we are working with all our strength to contribute to the development of Islamic economics and finance in both theoretical and practical terms. In doing so, we continue to reflect the light of science onto the world of finance with the support of academics and researchers from all over the world who are recognized as authorities in their fields.
