The Silk Road Civilizations Research and Application Center works on Turkic World studies in the context of the Organization of Turkic States. The focus areas of our center are the North Caucasus, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and East Turkestan.

The Center is one of the stakeholders of the Manas Forum, held at the Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, and on the campuses of Istanbul Ibn Haldun and ASBU Cyprus. It also took part in the SIRCON 2023 Silk Road and Beyond Congress Series international symposium "One Belt One Road: Opportunities and Challenges", held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

Due to recent developments, the center's Caucasus studies are carried out in cooperation with the Caucasian Student Society. The Imam Shamil Panel, the Conference on the History of the Caucasus and the Changes It Has Undergone, and the Caucasus Society Introductory Meeting were held within this framework. In addition, the International Mehmet Emin Buğra Symposium (in Memory of the 60th Anniversary of His Death) was organized jointly with the Farabi Education Association.

The Silk Road Civilizations Research and Application Center carries out joint work with Ahmet Yesevi University in Kazakhstan, Manas University in Kyrgyzstan and Alfraganus University in Uzbekistan. Apart from universities, it also works with civil society organizations. Joint work is carried out with the Ikhlas Foundation and the Yesevi Foundation from Kazakhstan; the Insanlyk Jardan Fund from Kyrgyzstan; the Union of Uzbek Students from Uzbekistan; the Union of Azerbaijani Citizens from Azerbaijan; the Georgia Friendship Association from Georgia; and the Elbruz Association, the Caucasus Foundation and the Farabi Association from Turkey. In this way, the center has become not only a national but also an international academic centre of attraction.
