The Distance Education Application and Research Center (İZÜ-UZEM) is our core academic unit that shapes our university's presence in the digital world with an innovative, quality-oriented approach based on scientific foundations. Our center undertakes very comprehensive and critical tasks, such as continually strengthening our digital learning ecosystem, ensuring the most efficient use of our learning management systems, developing rich content, and providing pedagogical guidance to our teaching staff in this process.
Particularly through the activities we have carried out since 2024, we are taking İZÜ-UZEM’s contribution to digital education processes to a whole new level. The Microsoft Teams Orientation Programme we organize so that you can use online platforms as effectively as possible helps you adapt quickly to the distance education process. We do not settle for technical support alone; with the Tinkercad Training we launched to improve quality in educational content production, we help you gain 3D design skills and support this process with hands-on sessions. In addition, by organizing Material Design Training for our teaching staff to improve the quality of course materials, we raise our digital content standards to the highest level.
We reinforce the process with the Moodle Training for Academics, which we hold so that our academic staff can use learning management systems more professionally, and through the Moodle Training Guide we have prepared, we make this knowledge permanent for all our units.
As İZÜ-UZEM, our main goal is to improve the quality of our distance education practices every day and to create a digital learning environment that is accessible and sustainable for everyone. By continuously updating our technological infrastructure and through the high-quality training activities we carry out, we are resolutely continuing to add strategic strength to our university's digital transformation vision and to build the educational model of the future today.
