These are the scholarships and discounts granted to students placed in the quotas listed in the YKS Guide according to the results of the central placement or special talent examinations conducted by ÖSYM. In the admission of students to undergraduate programs through special talent examinations, ranking and placement procedures and the determination of students' scholarship/discount rates are carried out on the basis of the overall achievement grades obtained in the special talent examinations conducted by the University. As stated in the YKS Guide;
Scholarship: covers the entire tuition fee,
50% Discount: covers half of the tuition fee,
25% Discount: covers one quarter of the tuition fee,
Tuition-Paying: means the entire tuition fee is payable.
At the University, ÖSYM scholarships and discounts are granted;
for a maximum of one year for optional foreign language preparatory programs,
for a maximum of two years for compulsory foreign language preparatory programs,
for a maximum of seven years for undergraduate programs.
ÖSYM scholarships and discounts are non-repayable and continue throughout the maximum period of study of the programs without any achievement requirements such as passing courses or maintaining a weighted grade point average.
Important Notice Regarding ÖSYM and Preference Scholarships and Discounts:
The students listed below cannot benefit from the "ÖSYM" and "Preference" Scholarships and Discounts. These students are enrolled in the "Tuition-Paying" program and the full tuition fee is charged:
Students who, while enrolled at our University in the relevant academic year or after withdrawing their enrollment, retake the examination and are placed at our University by ÖSYM.
Those who have previously graduated from any formal undergraduate program.
