

The primary aim of the Division of Mathematics Education in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education is to train mathematics teachers who will teach at lower secondary level, i.e. grades 5-8. Graduates will be able to work as teachers and administrators in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, private schools and various institutions. They also have the opportunity to work as teaching staff at various universities by continuing with master's and doctoral studies. Students are entitled to study in our division by being placed according to the results of the central exam conducted by ÖSYM. Students are admitted based on the Mathematics-Science 1 (MF-1) score.
