Our academic staff may take part in teaching mobility either with or without a grant. In both cases, however, staff members must submit an application and take part in the selection and mobility processes.
Grant and Travel Support
Selected staff members are provided with a daily grant and travel support in the amounts determined by the European Commission according to the destination country and distance.
The grant provided to staff benefiting from teaching mobility is a contribution only; it is not intended to cover the full cost of the period spent abroad.
The support provided for each country is set out in the application announcements published by the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordination Office.
The grant support provided to participants selected for Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility is limited to a maximum of 5 days so that more staff members can benefit from the activity.

Participation without a Grant ("0" Grant)
Staff members may, if they wish, take part in the activity without receiving a grant. In order to participate without a grant, an application must still be submitted and evaluated together with the other applications.
The difference for zero-grant staff is that they are not included in the budget calculations and no payment is made to them. Not receiving a grant is not a reason for excluding a staff member from the selection process or from any other process.
Special Needs and Accompanying Person Support
The Erasmus+ Programme encourages greater participation by disadvantaged participants. For participants with physical, mental or other disabilities, the Erasmus+ Programme provides guidance, reception, physical accessibility, pedagogical and technical support, together with a contribution towards additional costs.
Grant support is provided for the special needs of participants with disabilities. Under this support, 100% of the eligible costs are covered. In addition to the supplementary grant, individuals with disabilities and their accompanying persons are also supported with guidance, pedagogical and technical assistance, reception and physical accessibility.
Please contact the Erasmus Office for detailed information.
