About the Program
Master's Degree Program with thesis in Nursing of Internal Diseases has been started its education in 2017 Fall Semester. The Program consists of seven course, a seminar and a thesis (total 120 ECTS). The normal duration of this program is 4 semesters and the maximum duration is 6 semesters.
Program Objectives & Goals
Objectives
- The purpose of this program to educate nurses who integrate up-to-date information at the level of expertise with information from different disciplines, analyze and synthesize and create new information
- to educate nurses who can conduct research by observing ethical principles, use the results to solve the problems in practice and share them at the national / international level
- to educate nurses who have adopted principles of personal development and lifelong learning
- to educate nurses who are sensitive to community health and professional problems with a critical perspective.

KNOWLEDGE
- has advanced level updated knowledge at the level of expertise in field of internal medicine nursing based on nursing graduate qualifications.
- interprets, analyzes and synthesizes of knowledge related to internal medicine nursing to integrate knowledge from different disciplines into new knowledge.
- converts theoretical and practical information at the level of expertise gained in the field of internal medicine nursing to behavior.
- at the unforeseen complex situations encountered in internal medicine nursing applications, develops new strategic approach and to produces a solution by taking responsibility in the team.

Admission Requirements
To graduate from the Faculty of Nursing, School of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences, Nursing Department of Health Colleges.
Get at least 55 points from ALES (any of the SAY-point types),
The courses of this program are given at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Halkalı campus.
Graduation Requirements
On the condition of successfully completing the courses, having a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 and above and being successful in the thesis exam; The student who submits two copies of the bound thesis to the institute within one month at the latest from the date of entry to the thesis examination and whose thesis is found suitable in terms of form, is awarded a master's degree with thesis. The institute board of directors may extend the delivery period for a maximum of one month upon request. A student who does not fulfill these conditions cannot obtain his / her diploma until he / she fulfills the conditions, cannot benefit from student rights and is dismissed from the University in case the maximum period expires.
Recognition of Prior Learning
The provisions of the Postgraduate Education and Training Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated April 20, 2016 and numbered 29690 by the Presidency of the Higher Education Institution are applied
Employment Opportunities
They work as administor at clinics, departments and/or hospitals in the Ministry of Health, University and Private Hospitals; and as academician at nursing departments of Health Schools, Faculties of Health, and Nursing Faculties.
Access to Further Studies
Graduates who successfully complete the master's program can apply to doctoral programs if they meet the necessary conditions.
