The Department of Turkish Language and Literature undergraduate programme consists of a total of 240 ECTS. Our students are encouraged to do a Double Major or Minor in different disciplines in order to develop their potential and increase their job prospects after graduation.
Graduates of the department can teach Turkish and Turkish language and literature courses in public and private schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education.
Students who successfully complete the programme may apply for master's and doctoral degrees in Turkish Language and Literature or in other disciplines that accept students from this field.
