Accreditation and Rankings
* Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University holds the “Institutional Full Accreditation” certificate awarded by the Higher Education Quality Council of Türkiye (YÖKAK).
* According to the URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance) rankings, İZÜ has risen 18 places among foundation universities over the past 5 years, reaching 25th place in 2024–2025.
* In the overall rankings of all universities (foundation and state), it has risen 29 places in 5 years, ranking 118th among a total of 190 universities in 2024–2025.
* Having ranked within the top 500 in the UI GreenMetric rankings between 2019 and 2024, İZÜ ranks 584th among 1,477 universities in 2025.
* In the THE Impact Ranking assessment, based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, it has ranked within the top 500 worldwide in the “No Poverty” and “Responsible Consumption and Production” categories for the past 3 years.
* In the “75 Most Influential Universities” study conducted by Times Higher Education (THE), İZÜ ranks 63rd among all universities and 22nd among foundation universities.
