About the Program
-It consists of seven courses (3 hours per week), graduate seminar, and thesis study (120 ECTS total). The normal duration of this program is 4 semesters; the maximum duration is 6 semesters.
- Students, who completed course phase, submit a thesis proposal with the thesis form to the Institute, before starting their theses. After their proposals approved by the Institute, they can start their theses.
- Students enrolled in thesis master programs in the Institute of Social Sciences must fulfill the following conditions before their graduation.
The student who is enrolled in a graduate program must fulfill at least one of the following conditions in order to graduate.
- Two papers presented at national or international scientific meetings,
- An article published in a peer-reviewed/ indexed journal, accepted for publication, or received a DOI number,
- Two papers presented at Social / Science symposiums organized by IZU.

Objectives
- Our managers and teachers who are in our education system and education experts working in the education units of the institutions will present the current knowledge and skills that they need in this area and present contemporary practices and provide them with the necessary guidance services about how they will benefit from them. To educate managers who have scientific understanding by giving practical skills with theoretical knowledge to the employees and those who will work in the educational institutions.
- The aim of the Master of Education Management program is; To educate the Ministry of National Education and other institutions in the field of management , to raise the professional qualifications of teachers and administrators working in educational institutions; to develop knowledge and skills related to the field of educational sciences and to contribute to the development of theories, models and research methods in the field of study as comprehending, interpreting and practicing individuals.

Students who complete this program will have a master degree in Educational Management.
Admission Requirements
- Education Faculty graduate or Pedagogical Formation certificate
-Get at least 55 points from ALES (SÖZ-EA or SAY point type),
- The courses of this program are given in Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Halkalı campus in the Fall semester of the 2020-2021 Academic Year.
Graduation Requirements
1) To take the compulsory and elective courses in the course plan with 60 ECTS.
2) To have at least 2.00 out of 4.00
3) To successfully defend a thesis prepared in the field in front of a jury
Recognition of Prior Learning
Having a Faculty of Education graduate or a Pedagogical Formation certificate
Employment Opportunities
Graduated students can work as an education manager in institutions affiliated to National Education and as an academician in universities.
Access to Further Studies
They can apply to the doctorate program after getting enough ALES and Language Score.
