Course Objective
This course aims to compare conventional banking, the dominant banking type in the current system, and interest-free banking (participation banking or Islamic banking) with a half-century history in various aspects.
Course Content
In the first part of the course, the comparison of these two types of banking in terms of their historical aspects, general operations and the products they use will be compared.
In the second part of the course, first of all, comparison of current and performance of conventional and interest-free banking will be made. Then, a detailed comparison of these two types of banking will take place in terms of risk management, accounting and auditing, which are two important issues for banking.
Finally, comparison will be made in terms of performance and customer relations.
