General Information
The aim of our faculty of law is to give our students the ability to think legally, the capacity to bring fair solutions to existing and future legal issues, and an awareness of serving society. In line with the goal of our University, which set out to become a research university, the İZÜ Faculty of Law aims, as a centre of education and research, to establish justice in every field. We attach particular importance to passing on to our students all the accumulated knowledge and methodology of the age, above all the legal heritage of our geography and civilization.
The goal of the İZÜ Faculty of Law is to create the infrastructure for training the high-quality, well-equipped lawyers our country needs. Particular importance is given to Ottoman Turkish in the context of understanding our historical heritage. In addition to Turkish and English courses, our students will be given the opportunity to take courses such as Arabic and professional German, allowing them to develop themselves. Moreover, with its rich faculty made up of leading names in their fields and its extensive facilities, all available resources will be mobilized to ensure that students receive the best possible education.
