The Law Undergraduate Programme is a 240-ECTS programme with a normal duration of 4 academic years consisting of 8 semesters. As in the other undergraduate departments of our University, 1 ECTS corresponds to a student workload of 30 (hours/semester). The main aim is to train lawyers who have adapted to the information age within the production relations of the information society; to provide society with legal practitioners who have learned how to learn as a result of legal education integrated with universal values; and, beyond being ideal members of the information society, to train individuals who stand at the forefront of social development with their legal profession and identity as lawyers. Today, as international relations become increasingly complex, there is a need for lawyers who can solve the legal problems of the global economy and make the best use of foreign languages in their academic and professional lives. In response to this need, the Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Faculty of Law aims to train lawyers who can deal with national and international legal problems and have the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to solve them. To achieve this goal, a programme has been designed that, in addition to ensuring that students master legal methodology and theoretical knowledge, aims to give them analytical thinking skills.
