Our Faculty began its undergraduate programme with a 30% Arabic-medium curriculum in the 2013-2014 academic year. The duration of study in our Faculty is 4 years following a compulsory one-year Arabic preparatory class. The compulsory Arabic Preparatory Education is conducted at our University's Halkalı Central and Altunizade Campuses with expert Turkish and foreign faculty members. Preparatory education is supported by additional programmes held domestically and abroad. The language of instruction for Basic Islamic Sciences courses is Arabic.
Students of our Faculty are entitled to take a second foreign language course within our university.
Our Faculty admits international students in accordance with the decision of the university senate and the relevant board decisions.
Students of our Faculty may take part in Double Major and Minor Programmes in some other faculties, just as students from other faculties may pursue a Double Major or Minor in the Faculty of Islamic Sciences. Our students have the opportunity to study abroad for 1 or 2 semesters through international exchange programmes.
Our Faculty offers master's and doctoral programmes in the field of Basic Islamic Sciences.
