Computer Engineering
The Special Education Teaching Undergraduate Programme is a 240-ECTS programme with a normal duration of 4 academic years consisting of 8 semesters. As in the other undergraduate departments of our university, 1 ECTS corresponds to a student workload of 25 (hours/semester).
The Special Education Teaching Undergraduate Programme has a total of six elective course areas: Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Giftedness, Hearing Impairment and Visual Impairment.
Opportunities Offered to Students:
Opportunity to learn foreign languages (free of charge),
Opportunity to do a minor (with a scholarship for the normal duration of the major programme),
Opportunity to do a double major (with a scholarship for the normal duration of the double major programme),
Opportunity to study abroad through international exchange programmes (1 or 2 semesters),
Opportunity to continue with master's programmes after graduation.
Career Opportunities:
Graduates of the Special Education Teaching Programme can work as teachers in public or private educational institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, Guidance and Research Centers and Rehabilitation Centers. Graduates have the opportunity to develop themselves by continuing with graduate education.
