Core Duties

Some of the projects being developed by the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs are as follows:
Integration of the Uyumsoft ERP software into the university.

Accounting

  • Carrying out the preliminary financial control of financial transactions,
  • Conducting accounting services in accordance with the legislation in force,
  • Recording the invoices of all goods and services purchased by the University in the accounting system in accordance with legal regulations and generally accepted accounting principles,
  • Preparing and submitting financial statements and reports,
  • Carrying out the financial transactions of projects conducted within the institution,
  • Arranging the payment plan for invoices relating to all goods and services purchased, and, within this plan, preparing payment instructions and carrying out payments after having them signed by authorized persons,
  • Carrying out work advances and related financial transactions.

Budget

  • Preparing and submitting the Institution's Budget and “Implementation Principles”,
  • Providing the necessary coordination to units during the implementation of their budgets and enabling them to monitor budget-expenditure information electronically,
  • Preparing and submitting the Institution's Activity Report.

Student Transactions

  • Preparing and implementing a proposal for the Rectorate and the Board of Trustees on the “fees to be applied by the institution and the methods of collecting these fees”,
  • Collecting all kinds of fees from students,
  • Making scholarship payments that must be paid in cash,
  • Fulfilling the requirements of student "request" petitions involving financial obligations,
  • Issuing student invoices on time and delivering them to students at our offices on campus upon request,
  • Informing our students about their financial obligations.

Finance

  • Offering and implementing various payment options and payment methods for students,
  • Making payments via bank to companies or individuals from whom goods or services have been purchased,
  • Managing financial relations with banks,
  • Carrying out other financial transactions.
