The Opening Ceremony Of The 14th Academic Year Of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Was Successfully Held.

In his speech, Professor Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar emphasized that Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University is a foundation university established in 2010 by the İlim Yayma Foundation, stressing the foundation's commitment to the values of civilization. Acar said: “For many years, the İlim Yayma Foundation has been supporting national and spiritual values by providing scholarships and accommodation to thousands of students in order to support educational efforts. Inspired by this spirit, Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University offers, with its diverse faculties, departments, international students, library, sports facilities, and laboratories, a campus environment that is both at the heart of the city and surrounded by nature. The university is named after Professor Dr. Sabahattin Zaim, who was a pioneer in Islamic economics and participation banking. The university continues its educational mission on a campus that has been providing education since 1892 at the historic Halkalı School of Agriculture, where our Independence Poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy both studied and taught. Our university draws inspiration from these two distinguished figures and the İlim Yayma Foundation. On this special day, we welcome all our new students and wish each of you a peaceful and successful academic life."

Professor Doctor Monzer Kahf Organized Conferences In IZU
In the field of Islamic economics, one of the contemporary pioneers of banking and finance Professor Doctor Monzer Kahf visited Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University International Islamic Economy and Finance Research and Application Center on January 3 and January 5, 2018. Professor Kahf came together with faculty members, research assistants and graduate students who worked in the Islamic Economy and Finance Department and the Islamic Science Faculty.

IZU Islamic Sciences Faculty Deputy Dean Assoc. Abdülmuttalip Arpa participated in the 1st International Conference on the Development of Educational Facilities held in Putrajaya, Malaysia on January 19-20, by the International Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (IIESCO).

Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Vice Rector Professor Doctor Arif Ersoy welcomed the delegation of Gaza Islamic University. The visit took place on İZÜ Halkalı Campus on 6th February 2018. President of the Board of Trustees of Gaza Islamic University Prof. Dr. Nasereddin Almuzaini, Former Rector Kamalayas Shaath, Turkey Representative Mon Naim and Raif Alshorafa joined to visit.
