Professor Doctor Monzer Kahf Organized Conferences In IZU
In the field of Islamic economics, one of the contemporary pioneers of banking and finance Professor Doctor Monzer Kahf visited Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University International Islamic Economy and Finance Research and Application Center on January 3 and January 5, 2018. Professor Kahf came together with faculty members, research assistants and graduate students who worked in the Islamic Economy and Finance Department and the Islamic Science Faculty. Kahf organized two conferences, the first being the "Innovations of Islamic Financing" and the second "The Impact of Asset-Based Financing".

Visiting IZU From Gaza Islamic University
Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Vice Rector Professor Doctor Arif Ersoy welcomed the delegation of Gaza Islamic University. The visit took place on İZÜ Halkalı Campus on 6th February 2018. President of the Board of Trustees of Gaza Islamic University Prof. Dr. Nasereddin Almuzaini, Former Rector Kamalayas Shaath, Turkey Representative Mon Naim and Raif Alshorafa joined to visit.
Malaysian Education Minister Idris Jureh at IZU
Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bulut welcomed Malaysian Education Minister Idris Jureh and his delegation at the IZU. Malaysian Minister of Education and the delegation visited our university on 15th February 2018 to discuss bilateral co-operation. Rector Professor Doctor Mehmet Bulut and Malaysian Minister of Education Idris Jureh spoke importance of common education works and future vision. They also exchanged ideas about various projects at the meeting.
