Cooperation Agreement Between IZU and Sudan
The Consul General of the Republic of Sudan in Istanbul and the delegation from the Sudanese Community in Istanbul visited our university.
The delegation included Osaman Mahjoub, Consul General of the Republic of Sudan in Istanbul; Prof. Dr. Nizar Ata, President of the Sudanese Community in Istanbul; Naji El Karshabi, Secretary of Media and Public Relations and Official Spokesperson of the Community; Dr. Magda Cafer, Secretary of the Women and Children's Unit; Oatada Kamal, President of the Turkish Sudanese Students Union; and Ahmed Ammar, President of the Istanbul Sudanese Students Association.
The meeting was attended by IZU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cevat Acar; Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. İsmail Küçük and Prof. Dr. Erhan İçener; Acting Director of IZU TÖMER Lecturer Nurhilal Emre; and International Office Coordinator Nesibe Aloudatallah Ghadban.
During the meeting, strengthening the relations between IZU and the Sudanese community was discussed. The participants also evaluated opportunities for increasing mutual academic and cultural exchange and explored potential future joint projects. Additionally, a consensus was reached on cooperation in language education through Turkish language courses offered by IZU TÖMER for Sudanese students.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month events were hosted in IZU
The instructors and students of İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim University Nursing Department released pink balloons to the sky for the breast cancer awareness month. The Historical Building were illuminated by pink lights as support for raising awareness. Cancer is leading reason of death in the world while breast cancer comes as the first result of death for women.

(LOSEV: Fondation For Children with Leukemia) On 25th october, a seminar titled as ''LOSEV in Campus'' held at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University with the contributions of Social Work Club.
