The announced quotas are estimated quotas. Should there be any change in the budget expected to be allocated to our University by the National Agency, the distribution of the principal grant-funded quotas may change.

Points to Consider When Applying

• 1-Please contact the Erasmus Institutional Coordination Office regarding any problems that may arise during the application. (You may send an e-mail to erasmus@izu.edu.tr or visit the Erasmus Office. Library KT-143)
• 2-Once the pre-application has been completed online, the "Application Form" must be printed, signed and submitted to the Erasmus Office together with the "Documents Required for Application". The "How to Apply" page must be read carefully. Once the required documents have been submitted to the Erasmus Office (Library KT-143), your application will appear in the system as "Approved by the Office". Applications of students who do not submit their documents will not be evaluated.
• 3-If you do not wish to take the Erasmus+ English Language Proficiency Exam organised by the Foreign Languages Coordination Office, the option "I do not wish to take the University Erasmus+ Language Proficiency Exam on 13 March 2020" must be selected in the pre-application.
• Dil Sınavına girmek istemeyen öğrenciler;
  • For the preparatory period shown on their transcripts, they may apply with the İZÜ B2 Preparatory School Completion score. (Scores at C1 or other levels will not be accepted.)
  • Candidates may also apply with YDS, YÖKDİL, TOEFL-IBT-CBT-PBT and IELTS scores for the determination of their foreign language level. A validity period of 2 years is accepted for TOEFL and IELTS documents and 5 years for YDS and YÖKDİL. If an application is to be made with these documents, they must be submitted to the Erasmus Office at the time of application.

• 4-When making your preferences during the application, please research the university you select carefully. Make sure that the language of instruction is English. Almost all selected students are placed at their first choice. For this reason, the university listed as your first preference should be researched thoroughly.
• 5-When applying, please consider carefully which semester you wish to take part in the mobility.
• 6-Once the application period has closed, no changes may be made to Semester and University preferences in the absence of force majeure.
• 7-If you are also applying for the Summer Term Traineeship Mobility within the same application period, selecting the Spring Semester option for Study Mobility will make things easier for you should you be selected for both mobilities.
• 8-The withdrawal dates for students selected as principal candidates are 30 March 2020 - 13 April 2020. Students who do not exercise their right of withdrawal within these dates and withdraw on a different date will have -10 points deducted in the next application period. Students wishing to withdraw must come to the Erasmus Institutional Coordination Office between 30 March and 13 April and withdraw by submitting a petition.
