The IZU Career Planning Directorate was established in order to build career awareness among our students from their very first year at the university and to guide them in developing their interests and abilities and in making their career plans.
In addition, our main objective is to train and guide prospective graduates who are well equipped in every field, who are sought after, who are highly employable in our country and around the world, and who are leaders.
To enable students to discover their interests and abilities in the process of getting to know themselves,
To support them in setting and achieving their career goals,
To help them find work and career opportunities in which they can develop themselves by combining the professional knowledge and skills they have acquired with their individual talents,
To enable them to become closely acquainted with the sector and the business world related to their field of study and to be informed about internship and job opportunities,
To provide the opportunity to meet with the managers and/or representatives of private and public institutions and organisations,
To provide the opportunity to meet with academics who stand out for their expertise and achievements in the field,
To provide information about master’s and doctoral education in Turkey and abroad, as well as job and internship opportunities,
To help them develop their individual skills and abilities through personal development trainings and seminars,
To assist them in job application and recruitment processes through individual counselling services (such as CV writing, interview preparation, effective communication skills, etc.),
To strengthen communication and cooperation with alumni, to provide the necessary support in their professional lives after graduation, and to enable our alumni to act as sectoral mentors for prospective graduates,
To cooperate with other universities in the delivery of Career Planning services.
