Course Objective
The objective of this course is to develop professional communication skills necessary as they enter in the business world. The skills taught in this course are essential for surviving and succeeding in today’s
corporate world. Students will learn to analyze, understand and write clear and concise, develop skills for high level interpersonal communication and strengthen your oral presentation competence.
Course Content
Coursework includes writing proposals, memos, persuasive letters, and business reports as well as conducting business meetings and presentations through adopting documents to particular needs and audiences via authentic business communication cases.
The objectives of this course are:
• To teach relevant, practical and applicable business communication skills including reading, writing, speaking, listening and analysis.
• To improve the student’s self-confidence to express themselves in the professional business environment.
• To introduce contemporary theory and practice in modern business communications and the range of tools and methods available to address business communication challenges and problems.

Explanaition about asessments:
• Each student must complete a report following the specified schedule. If he/she would not submit the report on time, there is no another opportunity to submit again.
• Mark of 0 will be given if not submitting the report.
• The topic and the template will be given by instructor

- Students should attend class regularly. Their absence should not exceeds more than half.
- Being active in class discussions and asking questions are highly encouraged.

Course Learning Outcomes
- Understand and demonstrate writing and speaking processes through invention, organization, drafting, revision, editing, and presentation.
- Understand the importance of specifying audience and purpose and to select appropriate communication choices
- Understand and appropriately apply modes of expression, i.e., descriptive, expositive, narrative, scientific, and self-expressive, in written, visual, and oral communication
- Understand and apply basic principles of critical thinking, problem solving, and technical proficiency in the development of exposition and argument.
- Develop the ability to research and write a documented paper and/or to give an oral presentation.
- Learn how to craft clear, concise, and professional written communication such as emails, reports, memos, and business letters
- Develop active listening skills, allowing them to understand others' perspectives
- Learn about professional etiquette in business communication, including proper language usage, tone, and behavior in different business contexts
- Adapt communication styles and strategies to different audiences, contexts, and situations to achieve communication goals effectively.
- Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity in communication, understanding how cultural differences influence communication, and adapting communication styles accordingly
