Course Objective

The aim of lesson; The aim is to provide students with the ability to apply basic techniques specific to the ski branch by using materials and equipment belonging to the ski branch.

Course Content

Course content; basic concepts about skiing, history of skiing, winter Olympics, ski competitions and competition rules, ski resorts, general characteristics of ski resorts and basic safety rules of ski resorts, basic ski equipment, risks and first aid in skiing, types of training in skiing, It covers the subjects of skiing, flat skiing, braking exercises, simple turning, snow plow, snow plow turning, basic parallel turning, slope sliding, side sliding, turning towards the mountain and withholding turning.
