Course Objective

This course, in which microeconomic theory is studied at the graduate level, aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge of major areas such as consumer theory, choice, choice, producer theory, market structures, welfare economics, general equilibrium, game theory, social choice and mechanism design.

The content of this course includes topics related to optimization, consumer theory, producer theory, markets, general equilibrium, game theory, social choice and mechanism design.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Students become able to examine microeconomic theory, which is the basic analysis tool of economics, with its mathematical foundations.
  2. Students can follow the current literature on microeconomics.
  3. Students acquire the necessary notion of economics in order to produce original studies in the field of economics.
