Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the history and civilization students what the discipline of history means, to teach the methods and techniques of conducting research on History, Culture and Civilizations within the framework of History and Civilization Researches, to improve their ability to produce information and to comment on the information they produce.

Course Content

The aim of this course is to investigate the methods and techniques in History and Civilization Researches and to discuss how they can be applied by focusing on the meaning and content of History and Civilization Studies and especially the discipline of History. In this context, research methods and problems will be determined and solutions will be sought. In order to enable students to grasp the subject in a practical sense, the methods and methods of Turkish and foreign scientists who are renowned in History and Civilization Research will be examined.
