Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach why nutrition is needed and what are the essential nutrients in aviation and space sectors, which are special fields.

Course Content

In the content of this course; Aviation and space nutrition concepts, history of food programs in space, importance of nutrition, nutrients, energy elements, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, radiation oxygen damage will be studied.
