Course Objective
To be able to evaluate projects in relation to engineering.
Course Content
analyze the economic dimensions of engineering decisions. In addition to basic economic information, Preparation and evaluation of investment projects with concepts such as cost, overhead, price, depreciation, time value of money, cash flow.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Understands and makes the importance of economic analysis in evaluating engineering projects, compares projects with economic analysis methods. Compares and evaluates projects with depreciation calculation method.
- Interprets interest-money-time relations, calculates equal and unequal time value of money.
- Calculates present-future-depreciation-capital values of raw economic data
