Course Objective
Examines the functioning of competition law with its national and international dimensions, principles and practices of European Union Competition Law.
Course Content
Comparative competition law, US and EU competition law, abuse of dominant position, practices affecting competition, horizontal and vertical restriction of competition, exclusive distribution, monopolies and monopolization activities, mergers and acquisitions.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Students will have a grasp of the basic concepts of competition law.
- Learns Competition Law with its main lines.
- Have general information about the historical development of Competition Law.
- Have extensive knowledge of practices that will cause competition violations
