Course Objective
It is aimed to teach the rights of children, to learn how these rights take place in international and national law, to teach how to approach and solve problems that may arise in children in practice.
Course Content
Basic concepts of child law and the historical development of child rights, child rights in the Constitution and international agreements, the prohibition of discrimination to children, the principle of the priority of the child benefit, the protection of the child in public law and private law.

Course Learning Outcomes
- Knows the basic concepts of child law.
- It reveals and discusses the content of the legal rules on custody, guardianship and paternity, and solves the problems.
- Identifies and applies the legal problems related to the protection of children in private and public law and the legal rules to be applied to them.
- Evaluates and criticizes the results of the implementation of the rules of juvenile law.
