Course Objective
This course can be taken particularly by students who want to become a lawyer or academician at the universities. The most important purpose of this module is to teach the words used in legal documents such as statutes, legal contracts and other legal texts.
Course Content
In order to enable students familiar with the legal vocabulary, the areas such as contract law, commercial law and legal profession will be studied during the term.

Course Learning Outcomes
- Students learn the legal terms used in legal documents
- to understand the correct and accurate meanings of the English words used in legal areas
- to learn basic legal terms in English which they will need during their studies in a master or PhD course particularly at the abroad
- to use corretly and accurately legal terms in English which are need be used when a legal document is prepared in English Language
- to have the ability to understand the legal texts, court decisions, contracts, power of attorney, petitions
