Course Objective

Students learn about the sociology of religion and the reasons that lead to its establishment.

 Giving information on Islamic origins regarding the facts studied by the sociology of religion

The framework of the social and cultural structure in Islamic society

Relates the need for religious sociology and examines the reality of some social problems and phenomena

Introduces students to the most important modern theoretical trends in sociology

Knows about some concepts of sociology of religion and the factors affecting it

Course Content

Students recognize the concept of sociology of religion

comments on the emergence and development of the sociology of religion and its relationship with other sciences

 Explains some concepts of the relationship between the concept of sociology of religion and the relationship with other sciences.

interprets religious sociological theories especially in the West, Europe and America.

Learns about Ibn Khaldun's theories in the sociology of religion.
