Course Objective

To provide a sociological notion in order to ensure that our religious and cultural values ​​are properly understood, and that the principles of belief and the concept of being that originate from the manifestations of Islamic civilization in different periods and regions are interpreted in a language that will appeal to today's people by making use of new interpretations and approaches.

Course Content

Religion, society, culture, civilization, social change, globalization, modernization, modernization, social development, religion, state, religion economy, religion, family, etc. Relation with religion, social history of sociology, sociological methodology and techniques.

Course Learning Outcomes

  1. Recognizes the necessity of the concept of Islamic sociology and the need for social studies based on an Islamic vision that contributes to the devotion to Islamic and Islamic educational teachings that contribute to building society.
  2. The student can interpret religious and cultural values ​​in a language that appeals to today's people by using new interpretations and approaches to understand the principles of existence and the concept of existence.
  3. Learn about religious sociology, concepts, theories and practice.
  4. Recognizes the necessity of the concept of Islamic sociology and the need for social studies based on an Islamic vision that contributes to the devotion to Islamic and Islamic educational teachings that contribute to building society.
