Course Objective
To show the present accumulation of Islamic Turkish literature and to introduce the most distinguished examples of this accumulation.
Course Content
In the lessons of Turkish Islamic literature, starting from the acceptance of Islam by the Turks, the literary products which are reaching to the Tanzimat period and the various changes daily, and the writers and poets revealing them will be examined.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Students will learn the verse forms and genres of Turkish Islamic literature.
- Gains knowledge of the first works of Turkish-Islamic Literature.
- Students will read and evaluate Turkish Islamic literature texts.
