Course Objective

This course builds on the basic knowledge acquired in Introduction to Psychology I and aims to provide students with a more in-depth understanding of the major subfields of psychology. By the end of the course, students are expected to grasp the main theoretical frameworks and approaches in major topics such as learning, personality, psychopathology, psychotherapy and social psychology. They are also expected to develop critical thinking skills by analyzing psychological phenomena from the perspective of scientific research methods and psychometric measures.

Course Content

This course covers a wide range of topics, starting from basic individual processes such as learning and personality, to psychopathology and treatment approaches, and finally to social psychology, which deals with the behavior of the individual in the social environment. All these topics are covered on the basis of psychological research methods and psychometric measurement principles.
