Course Objective

This course aims to teach the surgical techniques of bariatric surgery, one of the treatment methods for obesity, as well as the nutrition approaches specific to each technique.

Course Content

The course content includes topics such as the definition of obesity treatment methods and bariatric surgery, the indications for bariatric surgery, medical nutrition therapy approaches before and after bariatric surgery, dietary stages following bariatric surgery, and postoperative complications of bariatric surgery and related nutritional interventions.
