Course Objective
It is aimed for the individual to have knowledge and practical applications about the etiology, pathogenesis, and complications of adult diseases, as well as the organization and training of medical nutrition therapy.
Course Content
The course content includes Infection, AIDS, Cancer and Nutrition, Kidney Diseases and Nutrition, Pancreatic Biliary Diseases and Nutrition, Burns, Test Diets, Drug-Food Interaction, Allergy and Nutrition, Neurological - Psychiatric Diseases and Nutrition, Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition.

- Explains the steps of medical nutrition therapy in liver, pancreas, and gallbladder diseases.
- Lists the indications and contraindications for enteral and parenteral nutrition and explains the principles of nutrition therapy management
- Explains nutritional therapies in bone and joint diseases, kidney diseases, and neurological disorders.
- Describes the areas of use of various test diets.
- Develops disease-specific medical nutrition therapies.
- Describes the physiological changes associated with burn injuries and lists the principles of nutrition therapy for burn patients
- Describes food–drug interactions.
- Explains and compares the concepts of food intolerance and food allergies.
