Course Objective

It is aimed for students to recognize the members of the biotic family and learn their effects on intestinal microbiota and health.

Course Content

The course content consists of the definitions, characteristics, and health effects of probiotics, prebiotics, and synbiotics, the gut microbiota, and international guidelines.
