Course Objective
The aim of this course is to enable the student to use the theoretical knowledge acquired in the field of public health nursing in field applications, to gain the ability to plan, implement and evaluate protective, developmental and rehabilitative nursing services by determining the health needs of the individual, family and society.
Course Content
This course contains; It covers the evaluation of factors affecting public health in line with the basic principles and concepts of public health nursing, the roles and responsibilities of the public health nurse in primary health care services, preventive and developmental health services for risk groups, field applications, home visits, community diagnostic studies, health education and teamwork. Within the scope of the course, it is aimed to develop the professional knowledge and skills of the student through internship practices.
