Course Objective
The aim is to provide students with knowledge of the fundamental concepts and principles of rehabilitation nursing, as well as situations that necessitate rehabilitation for individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses, and to equip them with the theoretical knowledge and skills necessary to identify and implement nursing care needs in all settings to enable patients with specific disorders (physiological, psychological, social, etc.) to maintain their functions.
Course Content
The rehabilitation nursing course includes topics such as an overview of rehabilitation, the basic framework of rehabilitation nursing, healthcare services provided to individuals with disabilities and the team approach in rehabilitation, vocational and social rehabilitation services for individuals with disabilities, rehabilitation technologies, nursing in spinal cord injury rehabilitation, nursing in traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, nursing in stroke rehabilitation, nursing in orthopedic-amputation rehabilitation, nursing in neuromuscular disease rehabilitation, nursing in cardiac rehabilitation, and nursing in pulmonary rehabilitation.
Explanations
Assignments and Projects: Assignments submitted after the deadline will not be accepted, and the student will be considered to have not completed them. Students must inform the instructor if they are unable to complete their assignments on time.
Verbal and Written Communication Ethics: Throughout the course, you must express yourself respectfully in your communication with classmates and with me. In addition, you are obligated to maintain this respect in online discussions, assignments, and correspondence.

Attendance (Class Participation): Students taking this course are expected to attend and follow the class sessions. Attendance is mandatory at 70%.
