Course Objective
By examining elements of critical thinking and creative process, the place and importance of the personal and professional lives, the course aims at providing students with the skill to consider their own thinking process, to decide what is needed in light of many sources derived from information collection, regulation, and also ability to select among possible approaches, to implement and process the results.
Course Content
Includes the basic concepts related to thinking, critical thinking and creativity, critical thinking and creativity items, critical thinking processes and properties, critical thinking and creativity through problem-solving, the place of critical thinking and creativity in the professional life and importance of nursing, critical and creative reading, listening, writing, thinking exercises
Course Learning Outcomes
- Understands the importance of critical thinking and creativity in nursing.
- Explains the concept of thought and critical thinking, the characteristics and dimensions of critical thinking, and critical thinking models.
- Knows the tools to measure critical thinking.
- Creativity explains the concepts of individual and organizational, and techniques to develop creativity.
- Recognizes the factors that affect and hinder the development of creativity.
- Solve problems through critical thinking by developing creativity.
