Course Objective
The aim of this course is to equip nursing students with the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to develop therapeutic communication skills, effectively manage interpersonal relationships, and establish professional communication with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
Course Content
Communication theories in nursing encompass the fundamentals of communication, levels and types of communication, the therapeutic relationship, communication skills, barriers to effective communication, basic interpersonal communication behaviors, intra-team communication, and related case studies.
