Course Objective

To increase the knowledge and skills of using the basic principles of epidemiology and research methods in order to develop solutions for public health problems in Turkey and the world.

Course Content

Definition of epidemiology, history, approaches and strategies, Health and disease criteria, Demographic criteria, Classification of diseases and deaths, Standardization techniques for the prevalence of diseases, Epidemiological research methods, Main components of infectious diseases, Protection of sound persons, Protection of resources.
