Course Objective
The aim of this course is to learn the tissues and organs of the immune system, the characteristics of natural and acquired immunity, the structure and functions of antigens and antibodies, and to explain the immunological mechanisms in detail.

Natural and acquired immunity; Antibodies and their classification; Antigen identification and receptors; Antigen and antibody interactions; Immune response anatomy; Vaccinations; Immunodeficiency
Course Learning Outcomes
- The student will have knowledge about the immune system and its types, which form the basis of immunology.
- The student will be informed about the organs and cells that make up the immune system.
- The student will have information about antigen, its types and antigen-recognizing receptors.
- The student will be informed about antibodies and their types and the immune response mechanisms that develop depending on them.
- The student will have knowledge about the molecules and pathways involved in the regulation of the immune response
- The student will be informed about vaccines and immunodeficiency
